Queensland supports a vibrant arts and cultural scene, which reflects the state’s diverse, multicultural society. Queensland’s art communities receive International acclaim for their work in literature, stage and cinema, dance and classical and contemporary music.

You can participate in open-air parades and festivals, listen to classical and contemporary Australian music, and visit galleries and museums.

In Queensland’s capital Brisbane, the Queensland Performing Arts Centre is a major venue for theatre and performance. You will find a wide array of cultural centres close by including the Queensland Art Gallery, Queensland Museum and State Library of Queensland. The Queensland Orchestra, is the third largest in Australia.
